What started out as a simple job of under boarding a ceiling, which was worse for wear after a previous leak, turned out to require repairs to the joists above as the ceiling had “sagged” by over 3” inches the centre. We had to fit timbers across the joists, jack up the ceiling, pull up the joists using large timber screws (which caused the lath and plaster to de-bond in places) then batten out and fit new plasterboard underneath. Just waiting for plastering now. #dachomeandgardenservices #handy
