When people hear “help,” they think it only means someone physically washing you or dressing you. But help can also mean: • prompting (someone reminding or encouraging you) • supervision (someone being there because it’s unsafe alone) • support to manage anxiety/overwhelm • someone guiding you step-by-step because your mind goes blank So if you only eat because someone reminds you, or only attend appointments because someone pushes you, or you need someone nearby in the bath because you may fall
